Following
breakfast we said our goodbyes to the rest of the group, most of
who were boarding the TranzAlpine train to continue their
journey. We made new friends who made the trip all the more
enjoyable. But it is time to return home.
We had one last indulgence in this trip
full of indulgences. We were booked on Singapore Air Business
Class. As Singapore did not have a lounge in Christchurch, so we
relaxed before the flight in the Air New Zealand lounge prior to
our 10+ hour flight to Singapore and then onto 1 hour hop to
Kuala Lumpur and home.
