Chandra Mahal

Behind the Pritam Niwas Chowk and towering over it is the seven-storied Chandra Mahal or Palace of the Moon. Each story has a different function and color scheme.There is the Wedgewood-blue Niwas hall, the floral painted Sukh Niwas hall and the even more spectacular Rang Mahal, an ornate hall of mirrors, similar to the one at the Red Fort in Delhi. It is closed to the public, as it is the official residence of the Marharaja of Jaipur.
